DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Bank and Blues Club will be hosting an evening of stand-up comedy, on June 18. Comedians set to perform are Rebecca Corry, Casey Crawford and Duncan Jay.
Corry was born and raised in Kent, Wash. Home Box Office (HBO) featured Corry’s first one-woman show, “Have You Ever Been Called A Dwarf”, after moving to Los Angeles. Her works also included: “Mix It Up”, “The King of Queens”, “The Bernie Mac Show”, “Rules of Engagement”, “Rizzoli and Isles”, “The Wayne Brady Show”, “Comics Unleashed”, “Last Comic Standing” and more.
While away from the spotlight—Corry is a philanthropist for pit bulls and she is also passionate about raising awareness for the non-profit organization, Stand Up for Pits Foundation, Inc.

Jay is a comedian based out of central Fla. with roots from Ala. He describes his brand of comedy as “intellectually immature comedy” and calls it “Southern Hostility”. He loves with pop culture too.
Throughout Jay’s stand-up comedy career, he has shared the bill with the following comedians: Judah Friedlander (“30 Rock”), Dave Attell (“Insomniac with Dave Attell”), Mike Epps (“Friday After Next”) and Dave Chappelle (“Chappelle’s Show”). He has toured the country and has won awards in 2014 including: Best Comedian in Brevard County and Best Actor in Brevard County.

Hailing from Daytona Beach, Crawford performs comedy throughout north and central Fla. His material consists of fatherhood, weight gain, southern moms and his children’s artwork. He describes the artwork as creepy. Every second Tuesday, he returns to host the comedy night at Corazon Cinema Café. The venue is located in St. Augustine, Fla. When he is not “slinging jokes from the hip”—his interests are reading, listening and seeing.
During Crawford’s stand-up comedy career, he has shared the stage with touring comedians. They included: Dave Stone, Ryan Singer and Andy Sandford.
