National Western Complex to host Riot Fest & Rodeo

DENVER – Riot Fest & Rodeo will be taking place at National Western Complex, from Sept. 2 through Sept. 4. Misfits will be part of the bill and the full lineup will be announced soon.
Early bird ticket presales are currently available through Ticketfly and Riot Fest’s website. The first four tiers of the three-day general admissions are sold out, as well as the first tier of the Very Important Person (VIP) ticket packages.
Entertainment Lockers will be providing lockers on site. Presales for reservations are currently available. The option to have unlimited cell phone charging is available. Lockers can be reserved by clicking here. For hotel packages, Riot Fest & Rodeo have join forces with Curadora. Tickets to the festival must be purchased separately. Hotel rooms can be reserved by clicking here.
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) include: admission for children under the age of five years old and under are free of charge, selfie sticks are prohibited, littering and cantaloupes are banned and umbrellas are too. For a list of all the answers to other FAQs, please click here.
One musical act announced for Riot Fest was announced, on May 15. The original lineup of Misfits will be performing. Glenn Danzig (singer/songwriter), Jerry Only (bass) and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein (guitar) will be performing in Denver and Chicago. Club shows by other acts have been announced surrounding the dates in Chicago.
Riot Fest was created as a multiple day festival. The genres they showcase include alternative, hip-hop, metal, punk and rock. It was founded in 2006 in Chicago. Since then, they have expanded to Toronto and Denver. Carnival rides, food vendors, sideshow performers were added to the independent music festival—throughout the years.
Another branch of Riot Fest is The Riot Fest Foundation. They are a non-profit organization and they seek to enhance communities. They are a grant making organization with the help of community based nonprofit organizations. They help further charitable missions and goals. Their mission statement is, “Because helping communities, people and youth is a moral obligation we’ve never taken lightly, we here at the Riot Fest Foundation stand firm that we can create change.”
