Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival Daytona Beach debuts at Tir na nOg Irish Pub

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival Daytona Beach took place at Tir na nOg Irish Pub, from Oct. 6 through Oct. 9.
Kicking off the festival on Oct. 6 was The Last Laugh panel. Zach Bennett hosted. André Dahlen, Marty Labbe, Sareth Ney, Sean Robbins and Kevin Tibbert were on the panel. Tibbert emceed the stand-up portion. It featured: Bennett, Labbe, Billy Myers III, Marcus Crespo, Rob Roeck, Dahlen and Ney. Brittany Mitchell, Tim Gephart, Sean Murphy and Connor Bates performed at The Last Laugh Open Mic. Then, Crespo performed a circle pit to Pantera’s “Walk”.

Prior to the Oct. 7 date--Ney and owner of Tir na nOg Irish Pub, Randy Phillips, drove to the Orlando Museum of Art. In collaboration with Orlando Museum of Art’s 1st Thursdays and Spooky Empire, “Spooky Party” happened. It was sponsored by Sam Flax and Publix Super Markets Charities. Ney dressed up as Wu-Man Chu because costumes were encouraged. He showed Phillips Tir na nOg Irish Pub was on display, along with the past two fliers of Sareth-Fest.
When Phillips and Ney returned to Tir na nOg Irish Pub, the festival continued with Tidbits Podcast. Steve Etchie and Lesley Jo were the hosts. Tibbert was their guest. Loose Leaf – A Storytelling Show preceded and presented by Chu. Storytellers included: Dahlen, Sean Murphy, Antwon “Spunky” Robinson and Tibbert. Stand-up was by: Mike Pantzer, Harry Snover, Robinson and Jo.
Basically Listening and No Skeletons In Space were the surprise musical guests, on Oct. 8. Phở-Ney Farm Film Firestorm followed with Jack Napier and Joe Lovece. Dahlen hosted High and Dry Comedy Show. Christian Moore, Napier, Jimmy Moynihan, Mitchell, Tibbert and Ney participated. Stand-up comedy was hosted by Dahlen. It featured: Brian Thomas, Moore, Moynihan, Lovece, Napier and Scott Harrell. Prior to Harrell’s set, he was honored by a certificate of appreciation by Sareth-Fest. During his set, he was lit at nine minutes but the audience wanted more. He delivered and the crowd loved every minute after.
Anxiety Society and Respect The Dead were the musical acts, on Oct. 7. During Respect The Dead’s performance—Charles Harmer, vocalist, stood on top of a table and provided vocals. He dedicated the last song, “Buried In The Catacombs”, to Ney. Tibbert hosted stand-up. It consisted of: Chris Coon, Forrest Beers, Ross McCoy, Jason Hedden, J.W. Brogan and Phil “Skratch” Cummings”. McCoy received three applause breaks.
