Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival Daytona Beach returns to Tir na nOg Irish Pub for second year

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival Daytona Beach returned to Tir na nOg Irish Pub, from Oct. 5 through 9.
On Oct. 5--Arielle Isaac Norman, Ava Smartt and Sareth Ney hosted the first night. Connor Bates, Joshua Silvers, Mike Pantzer, Rob Roeck and Scott Whatley took part in Off Script. Off Script was hosted by Norman and comics had five minutes to power through a heckle set. Spectators and comedians heckled. The best hecklers took home a gift from the mystery basket, ranging from sleep masks to items meant for the bedroom. André Dahlen, Bates, Jimmy Moynihan, Kevin Tibbert, Michelle Keith, Pantzer, Patti Hope, Roeck, Rudy Mulamba and Whatley performed stand-up comedy.
Ney hosted, photographed and was the disc jockey (DJ) for the comics. He told his jokes, as the songs were loading. The night ended with Norman and Smartt hosting their podcast, Gender Fluids Live!

For Oct. 6, Alex Venci and Sean Murphy took part in Phở-Ney Farm Film Firestorm. They roasted Ney’s short film, “The Insomniacs”. Ney hosted High & Dry Comedy Show. Comedians drew two topics to riff for five minutes. Tibbert hosted the stand-up showcase featuring: Venci, Murphy, Jack Napier and Jolly “Thor” Soren. J.T. Unverzagt, Venci, Lovece and Wylan Way closed out with The Last Laugh Open Mic.

Ross McCoy interviewed comics for his podcast, The Orlando Talk Show With Ross McCoy, on Oct. 7. Guests were: Roberto “Mini” Font, Aimee LeCours, Blake Butler, Scott Harrell, Murphy and Ney. Murphy, LeCours, Butler, Font, Ney and Harrell had stand-up comedy sets. It was hosted by Murphy. The Last Laugh Open Mic followed with Butler, Venci, Way and Lovece.

Loose Leaf – A Storytelling Show was next. Storytellers included: Aaron “Salty Aaron” Saudargas, Zach Bennett (secret set), Julia Robbins, Duncan Jay and Kam Patterson. Tibbert volunteered to host the comedy showcase. Towards the end, he had Ney host the rest of the evening. Saudargas, Andrecia Baker, Dean Nimock, Jay, Joe Lovece, Robbins, Bennett (secret set) and Jamar Torrence were part of the stand-up. Venci and Torrence signed up for The Last Laugh Open Mic.

Ney and Wu-Man Chu hosted the music portion, on Oct. 9. Samantha Ivey performed with an acoustic guitar. Chu was introduced by Ivey. He introduced King Hooker and he played the ukulele.

He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker. He is a Wu-Tang Clan inspired superhero, Wu-Man Chu. He is an award-winning short filmmaker, stand-up comedian, storyteller, fashion designer, philanthropist, founder of Pueblo's Independent Multimedia Podcast and festival director at both Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festivals.
