Shriekfest wraps up third year at

SANFORD, Fla. – Shriekfest returned for the third year to the Wayne Drensch Performing Arts Center, on Nov. 2. Short films, commercials and music videos were on display. They were submitted from North America and Europe. Nearly 40 visuals were viewed.
For the first short program, the following short films were screened: J. Zachary Thurman’s “Finley”, Mia’kate Russell’s “Maggie May”, Daniel Robinette’s “Psycho Path”, Reid Bailey’s “She Fell”, Elwood Quincy Walker’s “Kissed”, Alex Domenici’s “The Clapper”, Nesib CB Shamah and James Allen Smith’s “Most Steps Ever”, Jessica Graham’s “Listen”, Matt Cohen’s “Mama Bear” and Lisa J. Dooley’s “Last Call”.
Short program two featured: Jeremy Herbert’s “The Thing About The Beecher’s Gate”, Alex Montilla’s “Overkill”, Shawn Driscoll’s “Naughty”, Kenneth Lui’s “White Wolf: Zombie Killer”, Barney Burman’s “The Murdering Kind”, David Hamelin and Neil Macdonald’s “The Changeling”, David Bundtzen’s “The Devil’s Passenger”, Clint Carney’s “Aesthetic Perfection: Gods & Gold” and Aaron Pagniano’s “We Got A Monkey’s Paw”. Herbert was in attendance.
Third short program included: Marc Cartwright’s “We Die Alone”, Michael Trainotti’s “Nocturne”, Parker Finn’s “The Hidebehind”, Zachary Dehm’s “Peep”, Victor Ridaura’s “Dawn of Man”, Steven Dorrington’s “Off Fleek”, Ray Kermani’s “In Her Shoes”, Benjamin Howdeshell’s music video for “Withorwithout” and Stephen Vanderpool’s “Belphegor”.
Fourth and final program consisted of: Nick Scott’s “Headcleaner”, Zeke Farrow’s “Possessions”, Bryian Keith Montgomery, Jr.’s “Chickens”, Dan O’Brien’s “Trick Or Treatment—Healing Old Wounds”, Anthony Ladesich’s “Repo”, Brandon Ciarlo’s “Keep Looking”, Dan Allen’s “The Mime”, Brian Lipko’s “Drip”, Giovanni Bucci’s “Disobey” and Barrett Bowman’s “Baby Bird”.
Omar Usman of promotehorror.com was also in the crowd.

Shriekfest was declared “Los Angeles’ Most Successful and Entertaining Horror Film Festival” by LA Weekly. Shriekfest won the following awards by Movie Maker’s Magazine: Top 25 Film Festivals Worth The Entry Free (2010), Top 13 Film Fests To Die For (2011), One of the Coolest Festivals in the World (2013) and Top Five Coolest Horror Fest in the World (2013).
