Films screening at Spooky Empire in Hyatt Regency Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Spooky Empire will be returning to the Hyatt Regency Orlando, from Oct. 27 through Oct. 28. There will be a tattoo festival, film festival, celebrity autographs, kids zone, huge exhibitor room, costume and cosplay contest, make up demo classes, live music, performances, artists, authors, filmmakers, charity casino, panels, q&a’s, seminars, creepy cars and much more.
Films being shown at Spooky Empire on Oct. 27 are: “Found Footage”, “Slice & Dice”, “Monster Shorts”, “Devotion”, “Full Moon Inc”, “The Child Remains” and “Dead Trick or Treaters”. Screenings will start at 1:15 pm. and conclude at 1:00 a.m.
Motion pictures displayed on Oct. 28 consist of: “Nightmare Shorts”, “And You Films Horror Parody Shorts”, “Charismata”, “Foolish Mortals - Haunted Mansion Doc”, “Lou Simon’s “3””, “Close Calls” and “Blood Myth”. There is a filmmaker panel too. They start at 11:15 a.m. and end at 2:00 a.m.
Short films on Oct. 29 at Spooky Empire are: “Strange Shorts”, “Doorways to Horror Shorts”, “Florida Horror Shorts” and “And You Films Horror Parody Shorts”. They start at 11:15 a.m. and wraps at 4:15 p.m. The film festival awards follow. It runs from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Awards are for: Best Short Film, Best Feature, Best International Film, Best Special Effects, Audience Choice and
Florida Spotlight. It is directed by creator and host of Fear Haus, Blair Bathory.
Tickets to attend Spooky Empire are $35 (Friday, Oct. 27), $40 (Saturday, Oct. 28) and $30 (Sunday, Oct. 29). The prices of each ticket will increase by $5, if purchased at the door. The weekend pass is $65 and will increase to $75, at the door. The very important person (VIP) package is $225, is limited and will not be available at the door. Addition to the price of admission, a fast pass can be purchased for $75. Advanced tickets for photo opportunities will be purchasable, there will be a $5 discount for those with a military identification card, children ages 10 and under will be able to attend for free, tickets exclude Florida state sales tax, all sales are final and there are no refunds.
