Spooky Empire returns to Orange County Convention Center

ORLANDO, Fla. – Spooky Empire Rock N’ Roll, Horror, Halloween, Tattoo and Film Festival returns to the Orange County Convention Center, from Oct. 7 through Oct. 9. Hours for the vendor room are: Friday, Oct. 7 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The celebrity autograph room will be operating at the following times: Friday, Oct. 7 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. was the first home of Spooky Empire Rock N’ Roll, Horror, Halloween, Tattoo and Film Festival—back in 2003. In 2011—two horror conventions, Ultimate Horror Weekend and May-Hem, combined. As it grew over the years, it became one of the most respected conventions. Thousands of admirations of the horror industry from around the world attended, annually. Events which took place included a zombie walk, costume contest and kids fun zone.
Dubbed as the “Dark Side of Comic Con”—Spooky Empire Rock N’ Roll, Horror, Halloween, Tattoo and Film Festival announced their first wave of guests: Doug Bradley (“Hellraiser”, “Nightbreed”), Kane Hodder (“Friday The 13th VII”, “Jason X”), Robert Englund (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”, “Wishmaster”), Tony Moran (“Halloween”, “American Poltergeist”) and Bill Johnson (“Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2” and “Kill or Be Killed”). Times are subject to change and/or cancellation.
Crypt TV, Sho ‘Nuff Entertainment and Rock City Tattoo & Piercing Studio are currently the sponsors and supporters of Spooky Empire Rock N’ Roll, Horror, Halloween, Tattoo and Film Festival. After the tragedy took place at Pulse, they teamed up with OneOrlando Fund. Together, they designed shirts. After they set and reached their goal, 100% of the profits raised were donated to OneOrlando to the victims and families. They surpassed their goal of shirts sold by over 20 and raised over $1,600.
Single day tickets to attend Spooky Empire Rock N’ Roll, Horror, Halloween, Tattoo and Film Festival range from $30 to $35. Three day passes will start at $60 and the very important person (V.I.P.) packages start at $199. After Sept. 19, the prices for each ticket tier will increase by $5.
