ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – St. Augustine 450th Commemoration will take place from Sept. 4 through Sept. 8. Entertainment can be found at the Main Stage on the Bayfront, Colonial Quarter Stage, Gazebo Stage presented by FPL, Hypolita Stage presented by VyStar Credit Union and at the Aviles Street Festival presented by St. Augustine Distillery.
On Sept. 4—People Helping People Gospel Community Choir, Mavis Staples and Aaron Neville will be gracing the Main Stage on the Bayfront. T.Martin Band Delivering Its Own R&B Sounds, Shea Bearney, Rob Peck, Dewey Via, Michael Jordan, Emmy Mosely Band and Trio Of Boom will perform will perform on the Colonial Stage.
Also on Sept. 4—Jim Sloan and Bagpiper, “Eli” Grimes, Fort Mose Historical Society with a “Flight of Freedom” presentation, West African Drum Circles, Stanley Alston and El Conjunto Tropical be happening at the Gazebo Stage. Hypolita Stage presented by VyStar Credit Union will host Ramona Quimby, The Tubies, Sea Floor Explosives, Sea Floor Explosives, Red River Band and The Falling Bones. Aviles Street Festival will have a 450 minutes of art walk at participating galleries, Elizabeth Roth and The House Cats.
For Sept. 5—Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, Justin Townes Earle, JJ Grey & Mofro, Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell and the Fireworks Over The 450 Matanzas at Main Stage on the Bayfront. Germaine Veronica, Sand Fleas, Hunt Miller, Kenny & The Jets, Rivernecks, Wild Shiners, The Willowwacks, Lonesome Bert and the Skinny Lizards, The Wobbly Toms, Complicated Animals and Ancient City Slickers will be showcasing their talent on the Colonial Quarter Stage.
On the Gazebo Stage presented by FPL, on Sept. 5—St. Johns County Public Schools’ Combined School Choral Performance, Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind’s Dance Troupe, Renaissance Band’s Pre-1750 Instrumental music, Greek Orthodox Shrine featuring Traditional Greek Dancers and musicians, Brent Byrd, Tejedor, Alexandra in Grey, The Morrigans, Menorcan Cultural Society will be featured.
Hypolita Stage presented by VyStar Credit Union will host the following acts, on Sept. 5: Harp of Hope featuring Diane Schneider, The Gatorbone Band, Asyln & the Naysayers, Amy Hendrickson, Chelsea Saddler, Addi & Jacq, Billy Buchanan, Laurel Lee & the Escapees, Sam Pacetti, Hogtown Creek, Linser and Lower and Paradox.
