Nashville Music City Center to host Summer NAMM 2016

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Summer National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) will take place at Nashville Music City Center, from June 23 through June 25. On June 23 and June 24, the hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on June 25. New and returning vendors will be in attendance, live music and networking opportunities will take place.
Returning merchants at Summer NAMM include: Alesis, C.F. Martin & Company, Casio, ESP Guitars, Floyd Rose, Hal Leonard Corporation, Peavey Electronics, Roland Corporation, Taylor Guitars, Sabian, Yamaha, Zildjian and more. Returning after a few years hiatus are: Fender Musical Instrument Corporation, Ovation Guitar Company, American Music & Sound, Ernie Ball, Davitt & Hanser Music Co.,Vestax, Heritage Guitars, Pearl Drums and Dunlop Manufacturing, Inc.
NAMM U will be offering the following attractions: Wednesday’s Retail Boot Camp, Breakfast Sessions for every day of Summer NAMM and NAMM Idea Center sessions. For the first time, two tracks will be part of Wednesday’s Retail Boot Camp. The first will be for music retail sales and marketing. The other will be for music retail financial management.
On June 24, the sixth annual Top 100 Dealer Awards will take place at Summer NAMM. At the awards ceremony—attendees will learn how to incorporate best practices, incorporate new strategies and ideas from the very best in retail to help expand business.
Music Industry Day will be hosted at Summer NAMM, on June 25.It gives those in attendance the opportunity to try out brand new products. Educational workshops, live music and networking opportunities with other businesses will be available. TEC Tracks will also be hosting a series of educational conferences on how to record and live sound production. One of the gatherings will include A3E’s”The Future of Audio Summit”. It will be located nearby at the NAMM Idea Center.
Joe Lamond, president and CEO of NAMM, recommends Summer NAMM to merchants to give them an idea of what to stock up on during the fall and holiday seasons.
Registration for badges and hotel bookings to attend the three days of Summer NAMM began on March 9.
