Raekwon and Ghostface Killah to hit the road for The Ragu Tour

Raekwon and Ghostface Killah will be embarking on The Ragu Tour. The trek will begin at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore., on July 26. It will conclude at the New Parish in Oakland, Calif., on Sept. 1.
Hailing from Staten Island, N.Y., Raekwon classifies his subgenre of music as mafiaso rap. He is part of the Wu-Tang Clan and he is part of the Ice H20 Records roster. His latest album is “F.I.L.A.”.
In 1993—Raekwon made his debut, as part of the Wu-Tang Clan. In 1995, he released his first solo record called “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx”. It was produced by RZA, featured collaborations with Ghostface Killah and was praised by critics and fans.
“Immobilarity” was Raekwon’s debuted in 1999. “The Lex Diamond Story” followed, in 2003. “Immobilarity” was certified gold through the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Soon after—he became part of EMI Group and formed his own label, Ice H2O Records Inc. The sequel to “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx” was distributed, on Sept. 8, 2009. “Wu-Massacre” and “Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang” were next.
Ice H2O Canada and 3783 Media were added to Raekwon’s empire. Ice H2O Canada assists with undiscovered talent in the country. 3783 Media is a multimedia company based in Los Angeles focusing on: full service production, digital and management.
Ghostface Killah made his debut with the Wu-Tang Clan, in 1993. After being featured on Raekwon’s “Only Built For Cuban Linx”—he recorded songs for the following soundtracks, “Sunset Park” (1996) and “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood” (1996).
In the same year of songs making it onto the soundtracks—Ghostface Killah’s first album, “Iron Man”, reached the masses and peaked at number two on the pop charts. In 2000, “Supreme Clientele” followed.
