House of Blues to welcome The Used and The New Regime

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Used and The New Regime will be performing live at the House of Blues, on April 19 and April 20. The expedition begins with a two night stint at The Showbox in Seattle, on April 5 and April 6. It will conclude with back-to-back performances at the Observatory in Santa Ana, Calif., on May 30 and May 31.
Bert McCracken is the vocalist, Jeph Howard is the bassist, Dan Whitesides is the drummer and Justin Shekoski is the drummer of The Used. They will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of “Self-Titled” and “In Love and Death”. They will also be performing other hits, as part of their sets. Each city will host two nights, one for each album.
With every ticket sold via The Used’s website—attendees will receive a digital copy of their upcoming album, “The Used: Live & Acoustic at The Palace”. The record is due out on April 1. It features Hiro Goto conducting a four-piece string quartet and a harpist. As well as—a piano player, percussionist and a 3-piece gospel choir.

Ilan Rubin is the multi-instrumentalist known as The New Regime. He is known for his work with the following bands: Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves and Paramore. He is also the co-owner of the percussion instruments company, Q Drum Co. While on tour with The Used, he will be promoting his extended play (EP) record, “Exhibit B”.
“Exhibit B” was written and recorded by Rubin from 2013 to 2014, while he toured as part of Nine Inch Nails. Part of it was recorded in his home studio and the other was recorded in hotel rooms. Along with the EP, he has three other releases available: “Coup” (2008), “Speak Through the White Noise” (2011) and “Exhibit A” (2013).

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker.
