ORLANDO, Fla. – Trevor Noah and Angelo Lozada are set to take the stage twice in one night at the Bob Carr Theater, on Jan. 27. The first starts at 7 p.m. and the second will begin at 10 p.m.
While residing in South Africa, Noah hosted two seasons of “Tonight with Trevor Noah” and “South Africa’s Music, Television, and Film Awards”.
In 2014, Noah became a contributor of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”.
Awards and accolades for Noah were being nominated for the MTV Africa Music Awards “Personality of the Year”. He would go onto win in 2015. He has performed in front of sold out crowds on five continents. He was declared as the most successful comedian in Africa. His television show, “The Daily Show”, has won an Emmy and Peabody Award. It was nominated for a Writers Guild Award. He was the subject of David Paul Meyer’s award winning documentary, “You Laugh But It’s True”. Noah’s book, “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood” was a New York Times Bestseller and nominated for two NAACP Image Awards.
Noah’s latest comedy special, “Afraid of the Dark”, premiered on Netflix in 2017. It was filmed at Beacon Theatre in New York.
