NEW ORLEANS – Voodoo Music + Arts Experience will take over City Park, from Oct. 28 through Oct. 30. There will be four stages and set times will be announced soon. All entrants will receive a commemorative radio-frequency identification (RFID)-enabled wrist band and will have unlimited re-entry access.
2016’s edition of Voodoo Music + Arts Experience will be headlined by Arcade Fire, The Weeknd and Tool. 4B, Alison Wonderland, All Them Witches, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Babygirl, Band of Horses, Bear Hands, Beats Antique, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Bob Moses, Bully, Cage The Elephant, Cakes Da Killa, Carmine P. Filthy, Carnage, Chairlift, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Cheat Codes, Die Antwoord, DJ Mustard, Excision, Foals, G-Eazy, Ghost, Gramatik, Herb Christopher, Kevin Gates, Kidd Love, Léon, Lookas, Lost Kings, Little Scream, Lunice, Mayer Hawthorne, Melanie Martinez, Mutemath, NF, Nothing But Thieves, Oh Wonder, Party Favor, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Porter Robinson, Puscifer, Rebelution, Reignwolf, Saint Motel, Seratones, Shakey Graves, Sir the Baptist, Slander, Slaves, Snails, Snakehips, Sonny Alven, STS9, The Breton Sound, The Chainsmokers, The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers, The Lennon Claypool Delirium, The Pretty Reckless, The Shelters, Tory Lanez, Unicorn Fukr, What So Not and Wild Belle will also be part of the lineup.
Three ticket packages are currently available for purchase to the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, since the early bird specials sold out and the prices will increase as the event approaches. The first is the three day general admission ticket available for $140. Very important person (VIP) values at $400. VIP includes access to the Loa VIP Lounge, premium viewing of the stages, air conditioned flushable lavatories, free massages, tarot card reading, unlimited rides at the carnival, express lane at the main entrance, purchasable VIP parking, purchasable ZIPPO lighters. Single tickets will be made available to purchase, as the event nears. Krewe of Voodoo will allow friends to sell tickets to their “tribe” and the “tribe leader” will receive a free ticket. Additional fees may apply.
Gluten-free, La. specialty dishes, vegan and vegetarian will be available at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience. Art vendors, merchandise will be able to be purchased at the Merch Church, large scale interactive art installations, sponsors will be giving away gear and providing matchless involvements, alcoholic beverages will be served in various locations such as the craft beer garden, water stations will be available with complimentary refills and carnival rides.
