Welcome To Rockville sells out Metropolitan Park

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Welcome to Rockville celebrated nine years at Metropolitan Park. It was sold out with 99,000 in attendance.
Amigo The Devil, Secret Social Club and a special guest performed at the Welcome To Rockville pre-party at 1904 Music Hall.
Black Label Society honored Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell of Pantera. Evanescence returned to the festival after two years away. Judas Priest performed “Out In The Cold” for the first time, in over three decades. Papa Roach paid tribute to the passing of The Prodigy’s Keith Flint, with their rendition of “Firestarter”. The Damned Things reunited after 11 years. Tool debuted two songs, “Invincible” and “Descending”. They were two of the band’s new songs, in over a decade.

A pop-up of Boilermaker featuring Metallica’s Blackened Whiskey and Enter Night Pilsner was at Welcome To Rockville. The late Master Distiller, Dave Pickerell, distilled Blackened. Enter Night Pilsner was a collaboration with Stone Brewing Company.
There were acoustic performances by Beartooth, Fever 333, Grandson, Shvpes, Wilson and Dirty Honey during the Zippo Sessions. Maynard James Keenan’s (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer) Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards Wine Garden, Heavy Tiki Bar, Monster, f.y.e. Fan Experience, The Music Experience, Take Me Home, Fxck Cancer / Dyin’ 2 Live Dreams Program were on-site experiences.
