Yellowcard's final world tour to include Mavericks at the Landing with guests, Dryjacket and LIKE TORCHES

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Yellowcard will embark on their final tour and one of the stops will include Mavericks at the Landing, on Nov. 18. Their North American expedition dates will include special guests, LIKE TORCHES and Dryjacket. This leg of the trek begins at the Aztec Theater in San Antonio, on Oct. 6. It will conclude at Studio Coast in Tokyo, Japan, on March 2.
Ryan Key is the vocalist and guitarist, Sean Mackin is the violinist, Ryan Mendez is the guitarist and Josh Portman is the bassist of Yellowcard. Mackin and Mendez assist with backup vocals. Their roots are from Jacksonvile, Fla. and they are part of the Razor & Tie roster. On two of the dates—they will be performing their major debut, “Ocean Avenue”, from beginning to end.
Since forming in 1997, Yellowcard released seven albums. Their most recent album, “Lift a Sail”. On the release, Nate Young of Anberlin, was the guest drummer. He recorded his portion at East West Studios. It was produced by Neal Avron of The Casita, in Los Angeles.
Jonathan Kärn is the vocalist, Daniel Kärn is the guitarist and backup vocalist, Zakarias Faleij is the bassist, Lars Erik Thyr is the guitarist and Jimmy Brunkvist is the drummer of LIKE TORCHES. They are from Stockholm, Sweden and they are part of the Rude Records roster.
LIKE TORCHES’ latest studio project, “Shelter”, was made available. It featured 10 tracks: “Swing By Swing”, “Coma”, “Walking Home”, “Bit a Bullet”, “Skeletons”, “Snowfall Without You”, “Full Hearts”, “I Surrender”, “Safe to Say” and “Shelter”. The music video, “Skeletons”, can be viewed on YouTube. It was their second release and it followed 2015’s “Keep Your Head High”. “Keep Your Head High” consisted of 11 songs.
Joe Junod and Brad Wyliner are the guitarist and vocalists, Ian Foley is the bassist and backup vocalist and Adam Cerdan is the drummer of Dryjacket. They are an indie rock band from Marlton, N.J. and are part of the Hopeless Records roster. Their EP (extended play), “Lights, “Locks, & Faucets”, is currently available on a variety of formats including: compact disc (CD), vinyl and digital download. The music video for the song, “Jefferson’s Shadow”, is on YouTube.
