Hello Sareth,
I met you at the Santa Monica Pier,,
I wanted to say Thank u so much your support. It means a lot to me.
I thought you might like to have my latest song, “SET THE TONE.” An amazing thing happened to me last
week because of this song, and I just want to share it.

Here’s what happened:
Last Thursday a little girl came up to me and asked me the name of the song I was singing (it
was Set The Tone). I didn’t think anything of it, except she was pretty young to be asking me. What I
didn’t know was that standing off to the side was her grandfather, who happens to be president of Sony
Music Entertainment, Doug Morris. HE was the one who wanted to know about the song. Four hours later I
get a call from LA Reid (yes the guy from X-Factor and president of Epic Records). Doug Morris is his boss,
and Doug told him about me! LA Reid wanted me to be at his office at 5pm the next day!!!! I couldn’t
believe it!
So I called Tom Rizzo, a songwriter I have been collaborating with, and Tom and I jumped in the
car and headed over to Epic Records on Wilshire. They were waiting for us. Someone puts us in an office
and two seconds later in walks LA Reid with six creative executives. I was so nervous I could barely stand
up. But LA Reid was very gracious, and he asked me to sing a bit. Tom played a few chords on the guitar
and I started singing Set The Tone. I don’t know what I sounded like, but Tom says I was (as good in
there as I am at the pier!! I was so nervous really don’t remember much about it, other than I’m so grateful to have had
this opportunity.
So now we wait. Will he call me? Will I get a record deal? Will I get a songwriting deal? I have no
idea. But I’m just so thrilled to have been asked to perform for one of the biggest guys there is. Does it
get any better than that?
